History to the present day
St. Anne's began in 1879, extending a university education to women who could otherwise not have afforded it.
It became a full College of the University in 1952 and has taken both men and women since 1979. It is now one of Oxford's largest Colleges for both graduates and undergraduates.

Customer feedback
We guarantee that all our feedback is genuine and can only be submitted by people who have booked through our websites.
Michelle Batten, December 2010: St Anne's was an ideal base from which to explore Oxford for a couple of days with everything in easy walking distance. I very much enjoyed my stay.
Jan-Hendrik Heinrichs, December 2010: Fairly spartan accommodation, but adequate for a College.
Pauline Graham, October 2010: My only gripe would have been the fact that I could not turn the air conditioning off in my room. Which meant it made rather a loud noise during the night but this was really only a small thing.
